Firefighter Hudson

I'm not sure when it happened but there was a day that Hudson fell in love with fire trucks and firefighters.  It was not just a one week relationship but it has become a lifelong friendship.  Fire truck and firefighters have gotten us through the "terrible twos."  Firefighters helped us potty train, firefighters helped us learn character traits and fire trucks have entertained us on road trips.

For Hudson's special day during spring break we took a trip to the Fort Wayne Firefighter's Museum.  Though Hudson was hoping to see firefighters on our trip he was not completely disappointed.  He saw every kind of fire truck possible.  He saw a horse drawn fire truck, how the hose are washed after a fire, where the fire fighters sleep, how they get from the second story to the first story, and he stood in the stables at old the historic fire station no. 3.  Best of all, Emmy treated him to a new fire truck from the gift shop.
