Hudson Hysteria: Hoosier Style

Introducing at guard, a 21 inch, 9 pound 1 ounce, 1 week old future IU basketball standout: Hudson Spiegel Dickmeyer.

Hudson's Hangout

Today at my appointment I told Dr. Boyd that we had the room ready and we were thinking that May 17th would be a good day to have Hudson.  He laughed and said, "Of course you would."  

I'm a little sad knowing that this is the last nursery I'll prepare but Rich said, "It could be the last biological child's nursery you prepare."  I'm telling you he would be glad to 10+ kids running around.  

Welcome to Hudson's Hangout

I've had this quilt pattern and fabric since before we knew if Grace was a girl or boy.  

In the middle frames will go Hudson's baby announcement picture and birth info.  The other two frames will be pics of Hudson with Rich and his dad (the Spiegels).  We are working on finding a picture of the original Spiegel namesake as well.  

Grace's wall art.  She wanted to make something for Hudson's room.  She painted the dots on the 'H' just like Claude Monet.  Yes, Hudson's coming home outfit is on the changing table too. 

The reading corner.  I'm looking forward to lots of cuddles in that chair.

Thank goodness for Closet Tamers.  All of our closets are now in closet heaven!

Now we just hurry up and wait for the little man to make his appearance.
