23 months

Our last month of the 1s brought a Spring Break trip to Hilton Head.  Hudson is a great traveler.  His only complaints were that he did not like the pool and he really wanted his own bed to sleep in.  He did however look awfully "studly" in his spring clothes.  

Huddy has found a new found love for music.  He loves to listen to music, sing music and play music.  His concert list includes: Jesus Loves Me, My Father's House, Away in a Manger, Oh He Loves Me, and Blessed Assurance.  I am no vocalist but he may a little melody when he sings.  

22 months

Hudson loves BOOKS!  We have had to start putting books in the car because he is always requesting a book to read.  He loves to have books read to him or to read them on his own.  His favorite book is "Red Truck."

21 months

You can't tell from this photo but Hudson talks ALL the time.  He talks from the moment he wakes up until the moment he falls as sleep.  He often starts the morning by saying, "Good morning!  I'm in here!"  He says this repeatedly until someone gets him out of bed.  At times you can not quite understand what he is saying but that doesn't stop him he still talks.  I must say he does have quite the cute voice.  

20 months

The entertainer!  Huddy loves to have a good time.  Growing up with two sisters can be a little difficult.  Hudson does not lack in the toy area but he always seems to find his sisters' toys to play with.  Oh, well I guess that means he will make a great dad someday.  Like we've said many time he keeps us laughing for sure!  

19 months

Christmas is upon us!  We started our festivities with the "Dickerau" Family Christmas trip to Coney Island.  Hudson and Travis teamed up to conqueror the coney dogs. 

Next up was Grace's piano recital where he and Caroline entertained one another and clapped loudly for their big sis.  They were super proud of her.  

Hudson enjoyed Christmas morning but his favorite part of all was the appearance of the Little People Manger scene which now has a permanent place in our decor.  We spent most of the month looking for all the pieces to the manger which Hudson would often hoard in his crib.  

17 and 18 months

Happy Boy!  Not a day goes by that Hudson doesn't laugh, smile or have a good time.  Hudson is definitely the life of the party.  He keeps us on our toes and keeps us laughing. 

CHEESE!!!!!

They have given him the nickname "Huddy." 

Everyone is happy when they are with Emmy.

16 Months

We have a walker!  

The day of mommy's car accident as she was in surgery to get her bones fixed Miss Nancy sent a text message saying that Hudson had taken his first steps.  Since that moment there has only been one speed for Hudson- FAST!  There is nowhere he can't get to anymore.  Go Huddy Go!
